VENTURA — CLEAN International invites the community to make every step count at its 2026 Ventura Walk for Water, taking place Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Ventura High School. The event marks a decade of transforming lives through access to clean water and environmental stewardship.
Founded in Ventura in 2016, CLEAN International has grown from a local nonprofit into a global organization serving communities in more than 16 countries. Over the past decade, CLEAN has helped provide clean water to more than 700,000 people, supported the planting of 65,000 trees, and contributed to initiatives saving approximately 1.4 billion gallons of water annually.
The Walk for Water brings families, students, businesses, and community organizations together to walk in solidarity with millions of people worldwide who travel long distances each day to collect water. The event raises awareness of the global water crisis while empowering participants to be part of the solution.
“Ten years ago, CLEAN International began right here in Ventura with a mission to ensure that everyone, everywhere has access to clean, safe water,” said Heather Baker, President of CLEAN International. “As we celebrate a decade of impact, the Walk for Water is an opportunity to unite the community where it all began, celebrate what we’ve accomplished together, and inspire the next generation to help provide and protect our world’s most precious resource.”
Looking ahead, CLEAN International aims to reach 10 million people and conserve 10 billion gallons of water annually by 2030. Community members of all ages are encouraged to participate, form teams, collect pledges, and help expand CLEAN’s global impact.
