If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to support you. Please click the link below to learn more about the progress made during this term. |
Mountain Fire Support & Recovery
My heart goes out to everyone who lost their homes in the Mountain Fire. So many in our community are still working to rebuild, and I want you to know you’re not alone. My focus has been on supporting your recovery—whether through waiving fees, advocating for streamlining the rebuilding process or sharing information and resources. I’ve supported local donation efforts through the Ventura County Community Foundation and continue to work closely with the Long-Term Recovery Group to respond to ongoing needs. I’ll keep advocating at the state level to ensure survivors receive the help they deserve, including programs like the $20,000 mortgage assistance grant. My office is here for you, and we remain committed to walking alongside you every step of the way. Please click the link below for resource information. |
Clean Air & Protecting Whales
As a member of the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District Board, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help protect both our air quality and our coastline. We’ve were recognized with the Whale’s Tail Award for the Blue Skies & Blue Whales Program, which has significantly reduced harmful emissions—over 200,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases and 5,900+ tons of nitrogen oxides—while also helping to prevent whale strikes and reduce underwater noise. Through local incentive programs, we’ve also supported clean-air infrastructure, farmer equipment exchanges, and EV-ready projects that benefit communities across the county. I appreciated the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about housing, jobs, and the economy—critical issues shaping our communities. Let’s Stuff the Bus
This summer, I invite you to join me in supporting United Way of Ventura County’s Stuff the Bus campaign—an effort to ensure every student starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed. You can join in by donating backpacks and school supplies to help local children in need. Together, we can make a big difference in the lives of students across Ventura County and help set them up for a strong start to the school year. |
