Evenings on the California coast at Ventura Harbor Village just got a lot more fun, as the waterfront destination unveils its highly anticipated 2026 Seaside Movie Nights – a cinematic experience that fuses beloved throwback films with sun-kissed coastal charm. Debuting on two unforgettable Saturdays – August 22 and September 19, 2026 at sunset – this free outdoor movie series invites guests to gather outdoors on the scenic Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn, steps from the scenic marina. With cult classics, such as the 40thAnniversary of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off  and  the 25th Anniversary of Shrek, complimented by pre show fun, and plenty of seaside flavor, it’s a can’t-miss community tradition for locals and travelers alike! This year’s theme is “Nostalgia on the Big Screen, “a tribute to the epic films of the  ‘1980s, and ‘2000s that continue to capture hearts of film lovers.
