Registration open — Senior Concerns’ Love Run returns for 31st Year on June 1 to Support Meals On Wheels in Westlake Village

THOUSAND OAKS — Registration is now open for Senior Concerns’ 31st Anniversary Love Run presented by Logix Federal Credit Union, scheduled for Sunday, June 1, 2025 in Westlake Village. 

This annual fundraising event supports Senior Concerns’ Meals On Wheels Program, which provides over 65,000 meals per year to over 450 homebound seniors in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Oak Park, and Agoura Hills. 

The second-largest 5K/10K in Conejo Valley, the Love Run draws more than 500 spectators and 2,500 participants. This popular event features four sponsored races- The Pennymac 10K, The Mazda & VW Thousand Oaks 5K, The California American Water One Mile Fun Run, and The Carol’s Tribe Virtual Run. The Finish Line Festival features a Health and Wellness Expo, and finishers will enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast provided by the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis. The Ridge at Westlake Village, will  host a Mimosa Garden (for those 21 and over) and Los Robles Health System will sponsor a “Plenty of Plates” activity.

It’s a vital program that supports our seniors’ well-being through nutritious meals and social connections while fostering independence,” says Andrea Gallagher, president of Senior Concerns. “More than ever, we rely on community support to bridge critical funding gaps. Senior Concerns

Since 1975, Senior Concerns, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has been a lifeline for over 13,000 seniors and family caregivers in Eastern Ventura and Western Los Angeles counties, providing life-affirming programs and services to improve their health, well-being, and quality of life.
