We are eagerly awaiting the start of our online Fine Art Auction Fundraiser on Monday, November 9, and can’t wait to see who will take home each of our 20 gorgeous auction artworks and two raffle prize paintings. All proceeds will benefit the Santa Paula Art Museum.

After Hours with the Artists: Inspiration and Influence with Duane Dammeyer and Rima Muna
Saturday, November 7, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On Saturday, November 7, artists Duane Dammeyer and Rima Muna will lead free, 30-minute tours of their current exhibit, Inspiration and Influence, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Each half hour, five guests will explore the exhibit with the two artists as their guides. Reservations are required. It’s a new (and socially distanced) way to experience an exhibition. Once each 30-minute tour has finished, guests will be able to enjoy the Museum’s other offerings including live classical guitarist Hope Mueller.
Outdoor Art Installation: Dia de los Muertos – The Tree of Life
On view now through Saturday, November 7, 2020
This week, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura Countyinstalled a beautiful outdoor art installation in the Museum’s front garden to celebrate Dia de los Muertos. Their “Tree of Life” was a collaboration between the organization’s young members in Fillmore, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, and Oxnard. We hope you have the chance to see it now through November 7.
Art Class: $5 Craft Night – Paper Leaf Wreath (Ages 16+)
Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Join teaching artist Mariann Romero for $5 Craft Night and a fun and easy art project. Mariann will show you how to craft beautiful papers into fall leaf wreaths! The cost of this class is $5.00 per person. All skill levels and all students ages 16 and over are welcome. Space is extremely limited as class sizes are being kept small to maintain social distancing.
Art Class: Kids’ Ceramics Camp (Ages 8-13)
Monday, December 7, 2020 to Friday, December 11, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
Let your kids get their hands dirty in our weeklong Kids’ Ceramics Camp in December. Kids will learn basic skills for hand-building and glazing ceramics to create multiple projects, including holiday ornaments! The cost of this weeklong camp is $150.00 per child for all five sessions. All skill levels and all students ages 8 to 13 are welcome. Space is extremely limited as class sizes are being kept small to maintain social distancing.

Visiting Guidelines
For the safety and comfort of all of our guests and volunteers, everyone inside the Museum will be required to wear a face covering for the duration of their visit. Visitors must sanitize their hands immediately upon entry and maintain 6 feet of distance between themselves and any person not in their party. Persons visiting the Museum as a group are limited to no more than 6 persons in their party. Museum staff and volunteers will not be handling cash at this time (only credit or debit cards will be accepted). The Santa Paula Art Museum is adhering to all health screening procedures and cleaning and disinfecting protocols set forth by the County of Ventura, California Department of Public Health, and the CDC.
The Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving.
