Santa Paula Art Museum — More Art To-Go!

Art and museum fun at home
We’re Serving Up More Art To-Go!
We were so thrilled by the response we received last week for our free kids’ art to-to bags, and we’re happy to announce that the Museum will be offering them again! We’ll be giving away 125 bags filled with supplies and ideas for collage, printing and painting projects to do at home. The bags will be available for pick up at the front door of the Museum on Friday, March 27, starting at 10:00 a.m. (first-come, first-served).
Below, our museum educators have curated another list of fun projects that families can make using materials you have at home, as well as a variety of free, online resources to explore. Don’t forget to share what you create on Facebook and Instagram using #arttotherescue!

Cantabile Opus by Rima Muna, acrylic on canvas, 61 x 101 inches. Available for purchase.
While the Museum remains closed, we still hope our exhibits bring some beauty and joy to your days! We recently installed a new exhibition entitled Inspiration and Influence featuring painter Rima Muna and sculptor Duane Dammeyer. Muna often listens to music when she starts a painting. For instance, her piece Cantabile Opus was inspired by and named after Niccolo Paganini’s early 19th century composition. Click on the image above to take a listen.
We also recommend exploring #MuseumFromHome and #MuseumMomentofZen on Facebook and Instagram to see how museums around the world are sharing their collections online.
