Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley announce Youth of the Year winners

AGOURA — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley announced the Youth of the Year winners during their 14th Annual ‘Superstars of the Year Celebration’ held on March 19 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Iverson Rodriguez won the 13 and under category. Rodriguez, age 13 is a member of the Cal & Marje Johnston Boys & Girls Club located on the Colina Middle School Campus in Thousand Oaks where he attends school. Danielle Conner won the 14 and up category. Conner, age 15 is a member of the Marion & John E. Anderson Youth Center in Thousand Oaks and attends Westlake High School.

The annual ‘Superstars of the Year Celebration’ recognizes local youth and volunteers who have made a significant contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs during the year. The event was filled with performances from Club members in addition to young celebrity artists.
