SANTA BARBARA — Recently, members of United Way of Santa Barbara County’s (UWSBC) Young Leaders Society (YLS) bowled the night away at Zodo’s Bowling & Beyond for the 7th Annual United We Bowl event.
96 YLS members participated in a challenge bowl-a-thon, raising more than $4,000 for the upcoming 8th Annual United We Read event and other valuable community programs. United We Read is a program spearheaded by UWSBC that focuses on reaching community driven 10-year goals in education, financial stability and health.
Over the past seven years, YLS has donated over 1,000 books and over $4,500 along with school supplies to local schools through United We Read.

Other attending organizations included: Damitz, Brooks, Nightingale, Turner & Morrisset; City National Bank; Wells Fargo; Deckers; Hearts of Bacara and Mcfarland Faletti.
