CAMARILLO — Cal State Channel Islands (CSUCI) invites alumni, students, families and community members to celebrate Homecoming 2026 from Oct. 5 through 10.
Now in its third year, CSUCI Homecoming brings the campus and surrounding community together for a week of entertainment, school spirit and connection. Events will include comedy, an outdoor movie, live music, family activities, food, local vendors and opportunities to experience the CSUCI campus community.
“Homecoming is a celebration of the people and partnerships that make Cal State Channel Islands such a welcoming and vibrant community,” said CSUCI Interim President Susan Andrzejewski. “We look forward to bringing alumni, students, families, friends and neighbors together to share in our Dolphin pride and strengthen the connections that extend well beyond our campus.”
Featured Homecoming events on the campus include:
Comedy Night featuring Frankie Quiñones
Thursday, Oct. 8, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Grand Salon
An evening with acclaimed comedian, actor and creator Frankie Quiñones, known for his role in Hulu’s “This Fool” and his signature character-driven comedy.
- 5:30 p.m. — VIP pre-show social hosted by the Alumni & Friends Association ($60 ticket)
- 6:30 p.m. — Comedy show ($5 ticket)

Outdoor Movie Night: “Monsters University”
Friday, Oct. 9, 6:15 to 10 p.m.
South Quad
Families and friends are invited to a free outdoor screening of Disney and Pixar’s “Monsters University.” Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Homecoming Festival
Saturday, Oct. 10, 3 to 7 p.m.
Central Mall
The annual Homecoming Festival will feature live music by DJ Dapechmode, The Remedy and Los Cool Arrows, with Grammy Award-winning band Ozomatli as the headliner. Other activities will include:
- Local vendors and community exhibitors
- Student organization showcases
- Community car show
- Food and refreshments
- Inflatables, games and family activities
- Entertainment for all ages
The festival offers residents an opportunity to explore the CSUCI campus, support local businesses and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and activities for all ages.
Complimentary parking will be available for all featured Homecoming events.
