CAMARILLO — Cal State Channel Islands (CSUCI) on Aug. 24 unveiled a refreshed brand that celebrates the University’s distinctive sense of place while giving CSUCI a unified voice, visuals, and digital presence for the future.
The refreshed brand is part of a broader effort to strengthen how CSUCI communicates its distinctive value to prospective and current students, employees, alumni, donors, community partners, and the region. More than a new visual identity, the work clarifies CSUCI’s institutional identity, the value of a CSUCI education, and the experiences that distinguish the University.
CAMARILLO — Cal State Channel Islands’ (CSUCI) Police Department has earned accreditation from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), becoming one of fewer than 100 campus law enforcement agencies nationwide to receive the distinction.
IACLEA accreditation is the leading standard for excellence in campus public safety. The rigorous three-year process required the department to demonstrate compliance with nationally recognized best practices, verified by an independent team of experienced assessors. The achievement reflects the campus Police Department’s commitment to professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
“Receiving ABET accreditation is a significant milestone for our institution and a testament to the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students,” said Interim Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences Philip Hampton. “It validates the strength of our Mechatronics Engineering curriculum and enhances the value of a CSUCI degree for employers and graduate schools alike.”
