| My Way Home is in the early planning stages of exploring a new ADU program focused on education and financing. We’re hosting a virtual Community Focus Group to hear your experiences, questions, and ideas. Your input will help us understand what our community needs and help shape a program designed to better serve Ventura County.
Community Focus Group: Accessory Dwelling Units
An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a secondary home built on the same property as a single-family residence. Often called a granny flat, in-law unit, backyard home, or garage conversion, an ADU can provide additional living space for family members, generate rental income, or create more affordable housing options within existing neighborhoods.
My Way Home invites Ventura County residents to better understand the opportunities, challenges and questions surrounding ADUs. Your feedback will help shape future resources, programs, and support for our community.
