Strict Safety and Health Protocols are Top Priority
THOUSAND OAKS — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley are gearing up to provide a fun-filled and educational Summer Camp for K-8th graders.
Camp is offered at five Clubs including the Anderson Club located on the Los Cerritos Middle School Campus in Thousand Oaks, Johnston Club located on the Colina Middle School Campus in Thousand Oaks, Morton Club located on the Sequoia Middle School Campus in Newbury Park, the Notter Club, located on the Redwood Middle School in Thousand Oaks and the Grossman Club located on Chaparral Elementary School Campus. Camp hours run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Three sessions are offered with Session 1 running from June 15-July 10. Campers can choose from four full weeks at $650; Monday, Wednesday & Friday four-week session at $480 or attend Tuesdays and Thursdays for four weeks at a cost of $360.
Session 2 runs from July 13 through August 7 with 4 full weeks at $650; Monday, Wednesday & Friday four-week session at $481; or Tuesday and Thursday four-week session for $360. Session 3 runs from August 10-14 and includes a full week for $160; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday session for $135; or Tuesday and Thursday session at $90.
Summer Camp activities include science, sports, arts & crafts, games and more. The BGCGCV have implemented protocols from the CDC and public health to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both campers and staff. This includes safety guidelines, cleaning protocols, and social distancing etiquette. Campers will remain in consistent cohorts to increase safety measures. The number of campers is limited, and monthly sign-ups are required to maintain safety at all the Clubs.
