Announcing: A NEW ‘A Taste of Camarillo’ Online Fundraiser & the Cancellation of “A Taste of Camarillo” 2020

CAMARILLO — Introducing the new “A Taste of Camarillo” Online Fundraiser.  Meadowlark Service League is reaching out to our supporters of this fun-filled event to help us continue to fund our local charities through an online fundraiser.   Personal letters and emails will soon be arriving in mailboxes, appealing for donations to help us recoup a portion of the of the funds lost due to the cancellation of the TASTE 2020.  Our charities need us now more than ever.  We will utilize several media and correspondence methods to reach out.

“A Taste of  Camarillo “ Online Fundraiser is the first step in our efforts to recover from the current national crisis.  This campaign is critical to the success of our local charities.  We will keep you informed of additional virtual opportunities being considered. The MEADOWLARK SERVICE LEAGUE regretfully announces that we must cancel our primary festival event, “A Taste of Camarillo” for 2020.  This event has been held at Camarillo Ranch the last weekend in July for over 30 years.  We find we simply cannot ask our wonderful vendors, the many restaurants, wineries and breweries who participate in the TASTE, to donate their time, energy and money to the event this year.

Because of this, the Meadowlarks will NOT have hundreds of thousands of dollars to give to our many deserving charities and scholarship recipients. MEADOWLARK SERVICE LEAGUE has been around for almost 50 years and we will stay calm and carry on serving our community.  We thank the Ventura County community for all their support for this event over the years and tell them we are looking forward to seeing them at our “Homes for the Holidays” Home Tour and Boutique the 2nd Sunday of December, our Spring Charity Luncheon & Tennis/Pickleball Tournament next March, and of course, “A Taste of Camarillo” in July 2021.  We depend on these events to raise the funds we give to our charities every year.

Save the Date for “A Taste of Camarillo” – July 24th and 25th, 2021
