AGOURA – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley (BGCGCV) is pleased to announce a new member to its Board of Governors, Sonia Ahuja.
Ahuja has over 20 years of experience in driving transformational changes and top-line growth across a variety of financial service firms. She joined Farmers Insurance in 2015 and has been leading day to day business at Farmers Financial Solutions.
Ahuja has a strong track record in marketing strategy and over the last 10 years, has championed and implemented several strategic changes, and innovative technology platforms to enhance business models and improve client experience.
Prior to joining Farmers, she was Head of Business Development at BrightScope. Prior to that, she was the Chief Strategy Officer at First Allied Securities and led several strategic changes to drive growth.
In her prior experience as the VP of Planning and Execution at Wells Fargo Advisors, she led several strategic efforts resulting in improved profitability. She has also provided consulting services to several financial organizations in a variety of roles.
Ahuja holds a Bachelor in Science Master’s degree in computers and Master in Business Administration. She has certificates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Project Management methodologies.
She lives in Thousand Oaks residing with her husband and 12-year-old daughter. A lover of outdoors, she enjoys endurance sports, long distance running, hiking and camping.
