Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau update for May 4

VENTURA IS READY TO KICK OFF SUMMER!  Professional cyclists from around the world will be descending on Ventura on May 14th for the stage two start of the Amgen Tour of California. The race will start at Ventura Pier and take cyclists through Ventura’s historic downtown. Hundreds of kids will cheer along the route and Visit Ventura will roll out a very special welcome. Don’t miss it. Follow @VisitVentura to be part of the story.

Surf n Suds Beer Festival -voted in the top 10 beer festivals in the USA, takes place on May 19th and features over 50 craft breweries and over 120 beers on tap. This year Surf ’n’ Suds will feature a super special collaboration beer made in partnership by Poseidon, Topa Topa and Ventura Coast brewing companies. This will mark the first time the breweries will join forces to create an amazing beer for Surf ’n’ Suds Beer Festival. It’s the perfect start to a memorable summer. Learn more here.
