After more than 30 years of developing local leaders, the nonprofit will reveal a new name, new look and expanded programming at The Big Reveal Party in Camarillo
VENTURA COUNTY — On Thursday, August 20th, Ventura County Leadership Academy will mark its next chapter with The Big Reveal Party! This afternoon celebration will include the introduction of a bold new identity, new name, and announcement of expanded programming. The Big Reveal Party will bring together community leaders, changemakers, alumni, partners and friends for an afternoon of connection, celebration and a few surprises. “For more than 30 years, we have helped people across Ventura County discover their potential and lead with purpose,” said Pattie Braga, executive director of Ventura County Leadership Academy. “As we enter this next chapter, we are focused on widening that door, maintaining our deep commitment to the community, while embracing a bolder vision for leadership across Ventura County.”
Attendees can expect the first public look at the organization’s new identity and a preview of programming designed to reach more in the county than ever before. The event runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ventura County Office of Education in Camarillo. General admission tickets are $40 per person. Current VCLA cohort members who attend will receive an updated name badge at no charge.
