Cruise Night, Candidates Forum, Ribbon Cutting and Chamber Mixer headline a landmark month for Santa Paula’s business community

SANTA PAULA — The Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a robust lineup of community events throughout September 2026. From the beloved monthly Cruise Night — kicking off a festive Labor Day weekend — to a Candidates Forum ahead of the November election, a ribbon cutting celebrating new housing investment and a downtown business mixer, September promises to be one of the most active and community-centered months of the year in historic Santa Paula.

CRUISE NIGHT – Friday, September 4

The fourth installment of the 2026 Cruise Night series returns to East Main Street in historic downtown Santa Paula on Friday, Sept. 4, from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. Now in its 25th year, this beloved free monthly event transforms Main Street into a dazzling showcase of classic cars — hot rods, muscle cars, low-riders, customs, air-cooled VWs and more — drawing thousands of visitors from across Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles counties. Other than a rotating featured band each month, the magic of Cruise Night speaks for itself — a consistent, can’t-miss tradition that gets better every year.

This month’s featured live performance is by 805 Rockin’ Oldies, taking the stage below the iconic clock tower from 5 PM to 7 PM. September’s Cruise Night also features an expanded lineup of community information booths:

•  Santa Paula Unified School District

•  Santa Paula Aviation Museum

•  Ventura College East Campus

•  City of Santa Paula — Water Division and Police Department

•  United Water Conservation District

•  Clean Power Alliance

•  Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce — selling official Cruise Night T-Shirts and Stickers

Downtown restaurants will also be in full swing for the evening. Several of Santa Paula’s favorite dining destinations — includingParque 1055, El Capricho, Fermentation House and Santa Paula Cellars — are expected to be open and welcoming Cruise Night crowds. Some may feature their own live music that evening; watch for updates closer to the event.

Make a Weekend of It — Labor Day in Santa Paula

Cruise Night on Friday, September 4 is the perfect launch to a full Labor Day weekend in downtown Santa Paula. That Sunday, September 6, brings 1st Sundays at the Museums — a popular monthly community event celebrating Santa Paula’s rich cultural heritage at local museums. Then on Monday, September 7, the city’s beloved Annual Labor Day Parade steps off at 10:00 AM on Main Street, drawing families and spectators from across the region. Three days, one downtown — there’s never been a better time to visit historic Santa Paula.

CANDIDATES FORUM — Tuesday, September 22

The Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidates Forum on Tuesday, September 22, at the Santa Paula Community Center — providing voters in the Heritage Valley with a direct opportunity to hear from candidates ahead of the November 2026 election. The forum reflects the Chamber’s commitment to civic engagement and informed community participation.

RIBBON CUTTING: NANNI & DEEDA’S TOYS — Monday, September 7

Nanni & Deeda’s Toys is excited to announce its Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday, September 1, as the locally owned toy store moves into an expansive new space in Historic Downtown Santa Paula. The expanded store will offer even more room for toys, games, gifts, and hands-on fun for kids and families, including a new children’s puppet theater designed to encourage imagination, creativity, and play.

The celebration will continue with an official Ribbon Cutting on Monday, September 7, immediately following the Santa Paula Labor Day Parade. The community is invited to stop by, explore the new store and puppet theater, and celebrate this exciting new chapter for Nanni & Deeda’s Toys.

RIBBON CUTTING: CITRUS FLATS APARTMENTS — Thursday, September 24

The Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the grand opening of Citrus Flats Apartments with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 24 at 10 AM. This new residential development, located at 18004 Telegraph Road, represents a meaningful addition to Santa Paula’s housing landscape and a positive signal for continued investment in the community.
