| I’m pleased to invite you to an important community event taking place in Santa Rosa Valley. In just one week, residents, experts, and local partners will come together for the inaugural Santa Rosa Valley Firewise Education Event—an opportunity to learn, connect, and take meaningful steps to reduce wildfire risk.
This event brings together experts and dedicated community volunteers working to strengthen wildfire preparedness across our region.
What to Expect:
- Insights from Captain Cohen and the team at Station 34 in Thousand Oaks
- Educational resources from the Ventura County Fire Department Fire Prevention Division
- Guidance from the Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council
- A homeowners insurance information table
- Fire protection service providers offering tools and solutions to help safeguard your property
You’ll also have the opportunity to connect directly with Firewise Resident Leaders from neighborhoods across Santa Rosa Valley, including:
Hidden Meadows, Santa Rosa Highlands, Bridlewood, Rancho Santa Rosa POA, Camelot Estates, Holiday Pines/Jennifer Place/Honey Hill, Charisma Court, Blanchard and feeder roads, and Presilla/Canyon Ranch communities.
These volunteers play a critical role in building a more resilient community and will be available to answer questions about maintaining or achieving Firewise USA recognition.
Event Details: Santa Rosa Valley, Rancho Santa Rosa POA Clubhouse, 11701 E. Los Posas Rd. May 9, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Wildfire preparedness is a shared responsibility. By working together, we can reduce risk, protect our homes, and strengthen the safety of our communities.
I encourage you to stop by, learn from the experts, and take advantage of the many resources available.
