VENTURA — Fifteen years ago, Salena Bracamontes took a leap into business ownership and opened the doors to her own State Farm agency. Today, she’s built so much more than a successful business with the Salena Bracamontes Insurance Agency, she’s built a dedicated team, lasting relationships with clients, and a reputation for showing up for the people and community she cares about.
Salena’s path to agency ownership began in 2001, when she started her career with State Farm. After more than a decade helping clients navigate their insurance needs, she became an agency owner. Today, she serves individuals and families across California and has expanded her reach by getting licensed in Nevada and Arizona.
After graduating with a degree in English Education from California State University, Long Beach, Salena’s career took a different direction, but her mindset of learning, growing, and bringing others along stayed the same. She believes clients deserve more than a policy; they deserve someone who will take the time to educate them and answer their questions to ensure they have the information to make the best decisions about protecting the people and things that matter most.
“When I look back, what stands out most isn’t a number or a milestone,” Bracamontes said. “It’s the people I’ve met along the way, who have trusted me to be part of some pretty important moments in their professional and personal lives.”
Her commitment extends well beyond her office. Salena has devoted countless hours to strengthening her community through her involvement with local organizations and initiatives, including the Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors, Ventura Chamber of Commerce, ProVisors, local 4-H groups, and engaging in local government efforts focused on issues such as affordable housing and community development.
Fifteen years as an agency owner is an incredible milestone and a testament to Salena’s entrepreneurial spirit, hard work, and commitment to the people she serves.
