Gold Coast Health Plan Members May Be Eligible to Receive a $50 Gift Card for Getting Their First COVID-19 Vaccination by Feb. 28

CAMARILLO — In an effort to increase vaccination rates across Ventura County among its members, Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP), Ventura County’s Medi-Cal plan, is offering eligible members a $50 gift card when they receive their first COVID-19 vaccination.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, and help protect adults and children ages five years and older from getting sick or severely ill with COVID-19. More than 68 million Californians already have received their first COVID-19 vaccination.
GCHP members may be eligible for a $50 gift card if they:
  • Have full Medi-Cal benefits.
  • Are over the age of 12.
  • Get their first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, between Oct. 1, 2021 and Feb. 28, 2022.
Gift cards are limited to one per member and are available while supplies last. There is no need to submit proof of vaccination, as eligibility will be confirmed using state vaccination records. Gift cards will be mailed by March 31, 2022, to the member address on file.
