Bilingual report — COVID-19 Update for Nov. 5 — Vulnerable Adults Are Counting On You

November 5, 2020 COVID-19 Update
Good afternoon, There are 158 new cases today (17 (10.8%) of which have a lab collection from October 29 or earlier), 1,633 additional people tested, and 2 additional deaths (78 year old male and 79 year old male, both with comorbidities). Current doubling time 202.1 days. There are currently 30 people in hospitalized with COVID-19 and 5 people in the ICU with COVID-19.
Our current data published as of November 3rd is 5.3 (red tier) for the case rate and 2.4% (orange tier) for the positivity rate for the measurement period ending October 24th. The State reports on the numbers every Tuesday.
Let’s work together to slow the spread of COVID-19. Please wear a mask, social distance and wash your hands regularly. These steps can help protect you and others. These steps will also help us to continue moving forward through the State tiers.
