VENTURA — California Rural Legal Assistance Inc. will present its “Clean Slate Clinic” free expungement and reentry services, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at The Colleges of Law—Ventura, 4475 Market St., Ventura.
The expungement clinic is designed to help low-income people have greater access to housing and employment. We will be signing people up for our free record clearing service and offering an opportunity for people to sit down with a volunteer attorney who will help clients write their declaration to the court; this is a chance for them to tell their story and talk about rehabilitation.
