VENTURA — The City of Ventura’s annual Santa to a Senior program kicks off Thursday, November 12, 2026, to collect gifts for seniors at the Ventura Avenue Adult Center. Gift donations will be accepted through Wednesday, December 9, 2026.

“Each year, this program brings the warmth of the holidays to more than 200 seniors in our community,” said Recreation Supervisor Janine Cobian. “For many participants, these gifts are the only ones they receive, and they serve as a touching reminder that the community has not forgotten them this holiday season.”

The Santa to a Senior program supports older adults ages 60+ who receive daily meals through the center’s in-person dining service or home-delivered meal program.
