SANTA BARBARA — Cottage Primary Care is hosting a free virtual “Meet the Doctor” event on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., focused on weight loss and the medications available to support it.
Understanding obesity is key to improving long-term health and reducing the risk of chronic disease. The presentation will be led by Dr. Daniel Crossman, a board-certified primary care physician at Cottage Primary Care – Goleta.
Topics will include:
- The health impacts of obesity
- Why losing weight can be difficult
- Strategies for weight loss
- New and emerging weight loss medications
The event will also feature a Q&A session, providing participants the opportunity to have their questions answered directly by Dr. Crossman in a confidential setting.
