CONSCIOUS CONNECTIONS TOPIC
“Flow, Not Force: The Art of Surrender”
Step into a space designed for thoughtful conversation, genuine curiosity, and real connection. The District House brings together a diverse community of people interested in exploring consciousness, creativity, wellness, and the human experience—without pressure, performance, or pretense.
Conversations are shaped by lived experience, emerging research, and open inquiry, allowing for reflection, listening, and honest exchange. Rather than aiming for conclusions, the evening invites curiosity, nuance, and multiple perspectives to coexist in the room.
Beyond the dialogue, The District House is about community. Enjoy refreshments, meet fellow attendees, and build relationships that often continue beyond the evening itself. What emerges is a shared sense of presence and connection—created not by the topic alone, but by the people who gather and the care taken to hold the space.

RECAP: Visionary Muse Collective Art Show at LoDo
|
|
|
The walls of LoDo Studios are filled with beautiful portraits, and they will stay that way well into the new year. Plant Allies, produced by Jennifer McEuen and The Visionary Muse Collective, brings together a collective of 20 female artists whose work honors the plants that move through their lives and their muses. Each portrait carries the spirit of the artist who created it and the plant ally at its heart.
The exhibition opened with two special evenings at LoDo Studios in Santa Barbara. Artists who had spent months creating and connecting from afar stood side by side for the first time, spoke about their muses and the plant allies woven into their paintings, and joined the community for live painting and conversation. Together, the room created a collaborative painting that will soon go to auction.
District216 is proud to support and promote this celebration of plant medicine, creativity, and community, and LoDo Studios is honored to be the home for this body of work.
Plant Allies is on view at LoDo Studios in Santa Barbara through January 10, 2027. Stop in, spend time with the portraits, and meet the plants that inspired them.
