Meet Solange Aguilar (They/Ze)
They are an award winning queer Mescalero Apache, Yo’eme, and Filipinx (Kapampángan) multimedia artist, poet, zinemaker, and author of Red Like Earth. Their work has been featured in News from Native California, Earth First! Journal, at The Getty, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, and in Harvard Library’s zine collection.
Meet Gerri Gurman
Gurman is a lifelong movement educator, dancer, and teacher who has been sharing the healing power of movement since 1968. She is the creator of Tai Chi Animal Frolics, a gentle, mindful movement practice inspired by the teachings of Dr. Hua Tuo nearly 2,000 years ago, which she continues to share with students and communities today. |
