SANTA PAULA — The Santa Paula Police Department is currently accepting applications for the Police Chief Advisory Committee. Those interested in applying can do so online. The application is open to residents or business owners in the City of Santa Paula.
The Police Chief Advisory Committee will be comprised of 5-7 members from the community. The committee may take on roles including but not limited to: reviewing policies and practices, community concerns, and recommending public safety strategies. The committee’s purpose is advisory only, and it will not act in an oversight capacity.
Those interested in applying can visit the Santa Paula Police Department website at www.santapaulapd.org and click on “Police Chief Advisory Committee Application.” Residents or business owners can also use the QR Code below to access and submit the online application, or access the application directly by visiting: https://bit.ly/4sUIz4B. The minimum age requirement is 18 at the time of appointment to the committee. The application filing period closes at end of business day on Friday, May 1, 2026.
The selection will be determined by the Chief of Police and notification will be made within seven days of the the application filing deadline.
