VC CoLAB leadership update

Dear VC CoLAB Members and Supporters:

I want to share an important update with you directly.

After seven years serving as Executive Director, I have made the difficult decision to leave VC CoLAB. I have accepted the position of CEO of the Farm Bureau of Ventura County, where I will continue advocacy work with a focused emphasis on agriculture.

Working with you all has been an honor. Together, we have built a strong, effective organization with a track record of meaningful policy wins – real, tangible changes that have improved the operating environment for agriculture, business, and property owners across Ventura County. It has been a genuine privilege to lead this organization, to be trusted to represent your interests and concerns, and to advocate alongside you for more reasonable regulations and policies.

VC CoLAB is well-positioned for the future. The organization has an engaged membership, and a foundation of real policy wins to build on as it continues to advance its work in the years ahead.

The VC CoLAB Board has initiated the recruitment process for the next Executive Director and is moving forward with identifying the right candidate to lead the organization into its next phase. I will remain in the role of Executive Director through May 22 and will be actively supporting a smooth and orderly transition.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Spring Fling on April 25 to celebrate both the work we’ve done together and the future ahead for VC CoLAB.

Thank you for your support and partnership over the years. I am truly grateful for the trust you placed in me and for the opportunity to serve VC CoLAB’s dedicated members.

With gratitude –

Louise
