WESTLAKE VILLAGE — Gayle Nagy, an expert mortgage lender with deep ties to the Central Coast, has joined Gem Mortgage, a division of Golden Empire Mortgage, Inc.
Nagy, who has been working in real estate since 1980, works with her clients to find the right financing solutions for them. While that includes conventional, FHA and VA loans, Nagy can also broker “niche” loan products for clients with more specialized mortgage needs.
Nagy also specializes in Reverse Mortgages, which allow seniors a means to access their home equity without adding new monthly payments.
“I enjoy counseling and guiding seniors to help them select the reverse mortgage product that is best suited for their goals and needs,” Nagy said. “Over the years, I have counseled hundreds of seniors about various reverse mortgage options. As my reputation as a specialist in this aspect of mortgage lending has grown, becoming a Reverse Mortgage Expert Witness has been a natural extension of my skills and knowledge in the field.”
Nagy holds both a California real estate broker’s license and a California mortgage loan originator’s license. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara, and gives back to the Central Coast through her work with nonprofits like Phoenix of Santa Barbara, Montessori Center School of Santa Barbara, Montecito Rotary Club, Women’s Economic Ventures, the Coastal Self Defense Academy and the Santa Barbara chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Nagy is also the founder of Daily Double Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to re-homing retired and injured California Thoroughbred racehorses.
