SANTA MARIA — Allan Hancock College Athletics will host its 5th Annual Final Fore Golf Tournament April 6 at the Santa Maria Country Club. The presenting sponsor for this year’s event is AmericanStar Tours, a top-rated charter bus company based in Pismo Beach.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Hancock’s athletic programs, which support more than 300 student-athletes competing in 15 California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) programs.
Teams of four will tee off at 12 p.m. on the Santa Maria Country Club’s scenic 18-hole course, with registration beginning at 11 a.m. Participants will enjoy lunch and drinks provided on the course throughout the day.
Following the tournament, supporters are invited to gather at the clubhouse at 6 p.m. for beverages, food, and a special viewing party for the NCAA National Championship Final Four basketball game. Those who prefer to attend only the viewing party can purchase a separate ticket package for the evening festivities.
Throughout the event, participants will also have opportunities to enter a raffle for a variety of prizes, including a Fan Experience package to the 2027 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship.
“The Final Fore Golf Tournament continues to be a wonderful way for our community to come together in support of Hancock Athletics,” said AHC Athletic Director Kim Ensing. “This event not only raises important funds for our programs but also celebrates the student-athletes who represent our college with pride and dedication.”
California’s outstanding Central Coast climate, superior facilities, and welcoming membership make the Santa Maria Country Club one of the premier private country clubs in the region. The course winds across 120 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, featuring Monterey pines, cypress trees, lakes, waterfalls and challenging fairways that have hosted numerous statewide competitions.
