SANTA BARBARA — Cottage Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Weintraub to its Board of Directors.
Weintraub is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with more than 40 years of experience in financial planning and investment management, bringing deep industry knowledge and governance experience to the Board.
Currently, Weintraub is a Partner in the Santa Barbara office of Cerity Partners, a leading independent wealth management and financial advisory firm in the United States. He provides comprehensive financial advice and oversight, with a focus on integrated financial planning and long-term wealth strategies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University. Weintraub earned his Master of Science in Financial Planning from San Diego State University, where he has also instructed finance students as an Adjunct Professor.
Weintraub has served in key roles for several nonprofit organizations, including as Board President of the Santa Barbara Estate Planning Council and Board President of the Hope School District. He has also chaired investment committees for the Santa Barbara Channel Islands YMCAs and Direct Relief, one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the United States, where he was a board member for nine years.
Members of the Cottage Health Board of Directors serve without compensation, guiding the not-for-profit organization in its mission to provide superior health care and improve the health of the communities it serves, grounded in a commitment to excellence, integrity, and compassion.
