VENTURA — Seafood lovers are invited to Ventura Harbor Village to celebrate National Clam Chowder Day on Wednesday, February 25 with $5 bowls of chowder from seven participating restaurants. (While supplies last.)  Nestled along the picturesque Southern California coastline, Ventura Harbor Village, offers the perfect scenic setting to enjoy this classic coastal comfort dish, while dining alongside the fishing vessels, looking out towards the snow-capped Topa Topa mountains, and basking in the West Coast winter sunshine!

Clam chowder lovers can savor a variety of clam chowder creations—from creamy New England-style and Manhattan-style hearty to West Coast-inspired award-winning recipes.

On Wednesday, February 25 , these  seven Ventura Harbor Village restaurants below will serve up their signature clam chowders for $5 a bowl. So why stop at just one? Make a day of it and try several varieties.

Participating Ventura Harbor restaurants include:

than enjoying a warm bowl of chowder while strolling the harbor and watching the boats glide by.”

Beyond chowder tasting, guests can take home some fresh seafood at Wild Local Seafood and Andria’s Seafood Market, grab a sweet ice cream treat after the meal, and walk along the promenade. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early and bring friends to relax for harbor-front dining. Parking on Wednesday, February 25 is free.
