OXNARD — Susan McCarthy, a partner with A to Z Law, is the incoming vice president of the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association.
The Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association is a local organization of trial attorneys dedicated to improving the civil justice system, the lawyers who serve it and the overall community around it. McCarthy, whose practice focuses on business, commercial, real property and probate litigation, has been on the association’s board of directors since 2008.
She’s previously served two terms as secretary and one term as president.
McCarthy has been a part of A to Z Law since 2003 and was named a partner of the firm in 2017. She has an extensive legal history, having graduated from UCLA in 1983, and USC’s Gould School of Law in 1986.
McCarthy moved to Ventura County in 1999 and has been active in the community since, serving on the board of directors for both the Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties and the Ventura County Bar Association. She is also a former member of the Ventura County Bar Association’s Business Litigation Section Steering Committee.
