LOMPOC — Lompoc celebrates its culture, creativity, and history through a year-round lineup of festivals and events. From food-focused gatherings and historic home tours to arts festivals, aviation showcases, wine weekends, and living-history programs at La Purísima Mission, the city offers something for every interest and season. Here are some events to look forward to in 2026:

Lompoc Valley Restaurant Week 2026

Hosted by the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce, Restaurant Week is a community-wide celebration of the area’s culinary and beverage scene. This week-long event invites locals and visitors to explore participating restaurants and tasting rooms. Guests can look forward to special pricing and unique pairings such as wine or beer flights matched with featured dishes. Designed to make great food more accessible, the event encourages diners to explore new flavors, revisit favorite spots, and enjoy Lompoc’s best food and drinks.

Historic Fabing-McKay-Spanne House Tours

Open House: Every Saturday 10:00am-1:00pm

The Fabing-McKay-Spanne House is a beautifully restored 1875 farmhouse that offers a glimpse into Lompoc Valley’s early history. Carefully furnished with authentic early-1900s décor, the home showcases Victorian-era living through its formal parlors, dining room, wood-stove kitchen, nursery, and upstairs bedrooms; some featuring original pieces from the families who once lived there.

Operated by the Lompoc Valley Historical Society, visitors can explore the property on Saturdays from 10:00am-1:00pm. Tours for 10 or more people can be arranged by emailing lompochistory@gmail.com.

Lompoc Valley Flower Festival

The Lompoc Valley Flower Festival is a long standing community celebration honoring the region’s deep roots in the flower-growing industry. With the event’s origin dating back to the 1950s, the Flower Festival acknowledges the area’s agricultural heritage while bringing community members together.

Organized by the nonprofit Lompoc Valley Festival Association, this beloved event offers a mix of activities including a parade featuring flower-adorned floats, carnival attractions, arts and crafts vendors, food booths, and live entertainment.

West Coast Cub and Antique Aircraft Fly-In 

July 10-12, 2026

The West Coast Cub and Antique Aircraft Fly-In is a summer aviation gathering held at the Lompoc Airport. The event showcases a wide range of antique, vintage, and experimental planes, offering visitors an up-close look at aviation history.

Guests can explore restored aircraft on display and meet pilots, but the main event is pilot proficiency games held Saturday afternoon. With free admission for spectators, it’s a family-friendly experience for aviation enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

Santa Rita Hills Lavender Festival

July 11, 18, and 25 2026 – Noon – 5 PM

Join us for a fragrant and festive day at the Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm, where the beauty of lavender season is in full bloom! As part of the 3rd Annual Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm, visitors can enjoy a refreshing glass of lavender lemonade, take part in lavender wreath-making workshops, shop handcrafted goods at our local artisan market, and savor delicious farm-to-table food while listening to live music in the scenic Santa Rita Hills.

Food Truck Fridays

Friday evenings from 5-8pm, year round

Food Truck Fridays at Cold Coast Brewing Co. brings together great food, local flavor, and a relaxed community vibe. The brewery, founded by four Lompoc locals, hosts this weekly gathering behind its taproom, where visitors can enjoy a rotating lineup of up to a dozen food trucks offering a wide variety of savory and sweet dishes. Guests can pair their meal with a crisp, handcrafted beverage from the brewery and enjoy good food, great drinks, and welcoming company.

Sta. Rita Wine and Fire Weekend

August 13-16, 2026

The Sta. Rita Hills Wine & Fire Weekend is a celebration of the region’s vineyards and wineries, hosted by the Sta. Rita Hills Winegrowers Alliance. It features the area’s signature Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and sparkling wines, giving visitors a chance to taste a variety of local vino.

The weekend kicks off with the iconic “barn party,” followed by open?air tastings under oak trees, wood?fired meals and artisanal fare, intimate winemaker dinners, and a grand wine?tasting event featuring dozens of regional wineries. Wine & Fire offers both longtime fans and first-time visitors a chance to experience the wines and winemakers of Sta. Rita Hills.

Lompoc Chalks

The Lompoc Chalks festival, which began in 2019, is a free, community-centered arts event presented by Lompoc Theatre Project. Over the course of a weekend, talented chalk artists transform streets and sidewalks into colorful, large-scale chalk murals, while locals and visitors enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, a kids’ corner with face painting and games, and a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. Proceeds and sponsorships help support the restoration of the historic Lompoc Theatre.

Old Town Trick or Treat

Trick-or-Treating in Old Town Lompoc is a free community Halloween event, usually hosted in the days leading up to Halloween, where local businesses along South H Street and nearby storefronts hand out candy to kids. Families can also enjoy free children’s activities at Centennial Park, creating a festive, family-friendly atmosphere downtown. The event is open to all children (with an accompanying adult) and brings local shops and families together for a safe, fun Halloween outing.

Children’s Christmas Season Parade

December 2026, Date TBA

The Lompoc Valley Children’s Christmas Season Parade, hosted by the City of Lompoc, is a festive community event where local children, groups, and businesses come together to celebrate the holiday season. The parade winds through downtown Lompoc and usually runs about an hour, marching south on H Street, turning west on Ocean Avenue, then south to I Street. After the parade, attendees are invited to gather at Centennial Park for a community Christmas?tree lighting, the announcement of parade winners, and a chance to meet Santa.

La Purisima Mission Historic Park 2026 Events

La Purísima Mission State Historic Park, located in Lompoc, CA, preserves one of California’s most complete mission complexes. Visitors can explore restored buildings, gardens, and livestock areas, experiencing daily life as it was in the 18th and 19th centuries. The park often hosts events and festivals that highlight the area’s rich cultural history, including:

Winter Concert

La Purísima hosts an annual Winter Concert that features students from the local Cabrillo High School. Set outdoors amid restored mission buildings and the flickering glow of candle-lit lanterns, the unique atmosphere combined with festive holiday sounds offer a truly unique experience for everyone who attends. The concert, usually held in December, is a fundraiser that supports the grounds and helps care for the resident animals.
