Winter Storm Preparedness Meeting

Happening on Monday, November 10, at the Cuyama Elementary School, fire, law, and emergency management officials will host a community meeting to prepare residents for the winter storm season.

The Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation is raising funds for a new digital X-ray machine for a County animal shelter. Your support will help us give faster, gentler treatment to animals in need.

Tow-away parking restrictions are active in designated locations near the Hot Springs Trailhead. Visitors are encouraged to check posted signs and plan before heading to the trail.

If you need food assistance, the County has partnered with the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County to target food distribution efforts throughout the county. These events provide free fresh groceries and produce. Everyone is welcome, and no registration is required.

Santa Barbara Holiday Closures

County offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, for Veterans Day and Thursday, November 27, through Friday, November 28, for the Thanksgiving holiday. These closures do not impact emergency services.
