Ventura Music Festival — Hot Tickets, Cool Shows – July at Ventura Music Festival

Did You Know?

Even though Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture was written to commemorate Russia’s victory over Napoleon, it somehow became an American 4th of July staple, thanks to its booming cannons and grand finale that pair perfectly with fireworks!

The Boston Pops made it a tradition in the 1970s when conductor Arthur Fiedler added real cannons and bells for their annual Independence Day concerts, and the spectacle was so popular that orchestras across the country joined in, adding more explosions, and making it a red, white, and booming tradition!

Ottmar Liebert

A sold-out success with Ottmar Liebert and Jon Gagan was held last Friday, June 27 at 7:00 PM at The Majestic Ventura Theater.

More photos and videos to come on – check out our Photo Gallery or our social media pages to find yours when they’re posted next week.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy moves to the VC PAC

Due to unforeseen circumstances outside of Ventura Music Festival’s control, the July 25th Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert and opening act from The Barrelhouse Wailers will now take place indoors at the Ventura College Performing Arts Center (PAC). While this new location means a smaller audience capacity, it also ensures a more comfortable and intimate show experience for everyone. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Tickets are sold out and a waitlist is open for $99 tickets only.
  • If you’ve already purchased a ticket, best-available seats will be assigned based on price level, then in order of purchase date. You should have received an email today with your seat assignment.
  • This change means that there is no dancefloor available, so we’ll have to get moving and shaking in our seats.

If you have questions or require assistance, please contact us at contact@venturamusicfestival.org
