? Debbie’s story

After her divorce, Debbie faced the daunting challenge of moving back to California and buying a home. For nearly five years, she explored her options, but the state’s high cost of living eventually became overwhelming, and she put her dream on hold.

After a year-long pause, Debbie discovered VCCDC. Together with Alex and the Lending team they created a clear, actionable plan focused on securing permanent employment, keeping her credit in excellent standing, and strengthening her finances. With their continued support, and her own determination, Debbie was able to access $13,000 in assistance from the State of California CalHFA program and reached her goal of becoming a homeowner at the end of 2024. Watch her story below!
