A trio short films by undergraduates — “Not Just Water,” “quwa’” and “The Kelp We Breathe” — will be featured during the festival’s Santa Barbara Documentary Shorts programming.
Expanding on the newspaper’s reporting, “Out of Plain Sight” highlights the discovery, extent and potential impacts of toxic waste dumping off California’s coast.
“Walk With Me” follows the emotional journey of a graphic designer with early-onset Alzheimer’s and his wife as they travel the country, featuring the research of Kenneth S. Kosik, M.D., renowned neuroscientist and professor.
In partnership with UCSB Reads, and to celebrate 2025 selection, “The Book of Delights,” UCSB Health & Wellness hosts a session in creating personalized vision boards.
