VENTURA COUNTY — Danielle Brinkman-Mallare, a chartered public accountant with over 20 years of experience, has launched her own accounting business with offices in Ojai and Oxnard.
Brinkman-Mallare has spent more than two decades helping her clients navigate the constantly changing tax system. Her expertise spans tax planning, preparation, and accounting for the service industry, manufacturing, retail and real estate sectors. She also has significant experience with trusts and estates.
A Ventura County native, Brinkman-Mallare graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She began her career in 1997 at a small Oxnard firm, which she acquired in 2000 and successfully led for fifteen years. In 2016, the firm merged with the accounting firm Farber Hass Hurley, LLP, where Brinkman-Mallare has led the tax department for the last few years.
Ever the entrepreneur, Brinkman-Mallare decided to go back to running her own business late this year. She’s excited to welcome new and existing clients to her offices.
Beyond her professional life, Brinkman-Mallare is dedicated to community service and has been an active participant in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County program. She has also served on many nonprofit boards and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Channel Islands YMCA.
A resident of Ojai, Brinkman-Mallare enjoys spending time with her husband, Dodge Mallare, and their son, Cash. In her spare time she tends to their horses, chickens and dogs. She is an avid hiker and loves going out on the trails of Ojai with her family and pets.
