UCSB Arts & Lectures screens the film ‘Ballerina Boys,’ about celebrated all-male dance troupe Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, then presents the group in performance.
A screening of the live-action/ animated film is followed by a discussion with associate producer Steve Starkey, screenwriter Peter S. Seaman and Carsey-Wolf Center Assistant Director Tyler Morgenstern.
The new exhibition showcases archives and artworks from multisite, cross-cultural project Women Beyond Borders, founded by alum Lorraine Serena ’63 ‘75, which highlighted artistic media often dismissed for being in the realm of women.
