VETERAN CONTRACTING ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

November 2 @ 10:00 am PST

Training is open to service members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve, and military spouses. Like all successful missions, small business ownership starts with training! Every year, the federal government awards contracting dollars to veterans-owned businesses. Moreover, the federal government aims to award at least 3% of all federal contracting dollars to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)each year. Certification with SBA allows service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) to compete for federal sole-source and set-aside contracts across the federal government. Under the V.A.’s Vets First program, certified veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs) have additional opportunities to pursue sole-source and set-aside contracts at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (V.A.). For more information, contact Gilbert Soliz at (956) 261-4307 or email: gilbert.soliz@sba.gov
