VENTURA COUNTY SCORE: AMAZON 101 – ASSESSMENT, IMPLEMENTATION AND STORE MANAGEMENT

In 2022, US online retail sales, excluding travel, surpassed $1 trillion last year “for the first time in history”. Amazon’s share of the total was 37.8%. Second place was occupied by the e-commerce site of retail chain Walmart, with a 6.3 percent market share, followed in third place by Apple, with 3.9 percent. In this workshop Ventura County SCORE will discuss the basics as it relates to if and how to set up your own Amazon Store.

Define ways you can advocate for your needs as a business owner on the local, state and federal level. Identify ways to find and use your voice and tap into your power as a women entrepreneur. Learn ways to become engaged in advocacy efforts about issues central to your role as a small business owner in California.
