Join Ventura artists (and couple) Lynn Hanson and John Robertson for the premiere of their concurrent exhibitions, Fieldnotes: Lynn Hanson and A Narrative: John Robertson. The side-by-side exhibits span thirty years of each artist’s work, including drawings, paintings, assemblages, and more. Admission to the event is free, and reservations are not required. Fieldnotes and A Narrative will be on view March 12 to July 10, 2022.
Gorgeous Gourds (Ages 16+)
Saturday, March 12, from 11 AM to 2 PM; and Wednesday, March 16, from 6 PM to 9 PM

Join Mariann, Henny, and Melesse as they teach their all-new, two-part Gorgeous Gourds course at SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center. The organic curves and shapes of natural, dried gourds are a perfect template for making your own creations. Learn techniques for shaping, painting, carving, and embellishing original gourd artworks in just two classes!
Finding Flow + Sound Bath (Ages 16+)

This month’s Finding Flow class comes with an extra dose of meditative goodness. Teaching artist and certified arts therapist Robin Briceño will be joined by musician Karina Arcia (pictured above) whose Tibetan singing bowls and sound bath will leave you feeling totally inspired. But hurry, there are only two spots left in class!
