El Teatro de la Esperanza, founded and active at UCSB in the 1970’s, promoted justice through storytelling; a 50th anniversary conference will celebrate its legacy.
Faculty members from the history, global studies and political science departments discuss the invasion of Ukraine, including its historical background, regional and global ramifications and international responses.
Delila Moseley directs the UCSB Dance Company in their first full performance since March 2020, featuring works from a diverse group of choreographers.
“If we don’t start thinking of the solutions in terms of where and how we’re building, I feel like we’re missing something pretty important,” said Moritz, who is also an adjunct professor at UC Santa Barbara.
