February 14 always feels extra special at the Santa Paula Art Museum. Today marks the Museum’s twelfth anniversary! For our staff and board, Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate our donors, members, featured artists, and volunteers. They are the heart of this Museum.
Thank you for twelve years of care and support of SPAM’s mission. Here are some highlights of what our supporters have enabled the Museum to achieve in that time:
The Museum has welcomed nearly 40,000 visitors and hosted over 500 events since February 14, 2010.
SPAM’S free ArtSPARK education program has served over 13,000 studentsthrough on-site tours and workshops; afterschool programs; and, more recently, virtual resources and Art To-Go Bags.
We’ve produced 72 original art exhibitions featuring over 3,700 distinct artworks showcasing local artists and local themes.
The Museum’s permanent collection has preserved 565 artworks for future generations to study and enjoy.
Since opening in 2018, SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center has offered 118 art classes which have been utilized by 671 students of all ages.

Four consecutive Saturdays: March 19; March 26; April 2; and April 9, 2022, from 11 AM to 2 PM
