CA SMALL BUSINESS COVID-19 RELIEF GRANT PROGRAM
Round 5 Open Now!
Round 5 of the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program is now accepting applications! This round is NOT first-come, first-serve. Please note the following information:
Important Dates for Round 5
Application Opens: March 25, 2021
Application Closes: March 31, 2021
Start of Selection Notifications: TBD
Important Application Information
  • Waitlisted applicants from Rounds 1 & 2 will be automatically rolled into Round 5. Do not reapply. Reapplying may flag your application as fraud.
  • Are you an eligible nonprofit cultural institution and applied for the Arts & Cultural Program (Round 4)?
  • Nonprofit cultural organizations that did NOT apply during Rounds 1 or 2 can submit a NEW application to Round 5 at any time during the Round 5 application window. Please note that there is NO waitlist for Round 4 (no applicants will automatically roll into Round 5) and applicants interested in being considered in Round 5 MUST complete a new application. Applicants will only be funded for one round.
  • Nonprofit cultural organizations that applied during Rounds 1 or 2 AND was waitlisted should NOT apply again. Your application will be automatically rolled into Round 5.
  • To apply for Round 5, visit CAReliefGrant.com and find a partner organization. You may select any partner that serves your area or language. The partner organization selected does not impact eligibility.
Round 4- Nonprofit Arts & Cultural Program
Round 4- The Arts & Cultural Program application window was recently extended to Friday, March 26th, 2021. Please note the following information:
PLEASE NOTE: Eligible nonprofit arts and cultural institutions interested in being considered in this new program MUST complete a NEW APPLICATION at CAReliefGrant.com/arts-and-culture even if they have previously applied to the CA Relief Grant Program during Rounds 1 or 2. Waitlisted applications from Round 1 or 2 do not automatically roll over to Round 4.

Important Application Information
  • The Arts & Cultural Program has its own webpage. Visit CAReliefGrant.com/arts-and-culture. Applications must be submitted at this new webpage to be considered for Round 4.
  • Nonprofit cultural institutions for the Arts & Cultural Program will be required to complete a new application even if they have already applied for the COVID-19 Relief Grant Program. However, applicants will not be awarded a grant if they have already received one.
  • There will be no waitlist for Round 4. Applicants will be selected for the grant or not selected. If an applicant is not selected in Round 4 but is still eligible for the CA Relief Grant, they can submit a new application in Rounds 5 or 6.
