The Collection celebrates numerous reopenings

Shopping center’s restaurants, shops, and service businesses welcome back visitors

OXNARD — Throughout Ventura County, businesses and individuals are celebrating our community’s transition into the red tier. For those eager to join in the excitement, The Collection at RiverPark is now offering both indoor and outdoor dining, several newly reopened businesses, and the comfort of socially distanced experiences at an open-air shopping center.

24 Hour Fitness Super Sport welcomes guests back indoors while continuing to keep their outdoor gym open for members to enjoy while taking a GX Studio class such as body pump or Zumba. In addition, on Friday, March 19, Century RiverPark 16 & XD will reopen to the community to show exciting new releases and classic movies. Private Watch Parties will also be available for up to 20 guests. Please visit http://www.thecollectionrp.com for ticket purchase options.

“We’re thrilled to be able to welcome visitors back to enjoy so much more of what The Collection has to offer,” said Mike Pynn, General Manager of The Collection. “We’ve done everything we can throughout the pandemic to provide an enjoyable experience for customers while prioritizing health considerations. With the easing of restrictions, we are now able to provide even more opportunities for shopping, dining and entertainment.”

Whether visitors spend the day enjoying the shopping center or are simply stopping by for a delicious meal, the restaurants at The Collection and the Annex Food Hall are thrilled to welcome customers back for indoor dining. Each restaurant is adhering to guidance from the CDC and local health officials to keep diners and employees healthy. Curbside parking is still available for takeout orders as well as outdoor dining.

For those who prefer to dine outside, several restaurants continue to offer expanded patio dining. Collection Park and Park View Court remain open to those who want to enjoy a picnic outside under the California sun, and as the sun goes down, string lights illuminate the area, creating a beautiful outdoor dining atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy live music from local artists throughout spring.

In addition to enjoying a meal, The Collection’s visitors can meander the outdoor walkways to explore and experience the shopping center’s diverse sculptures, murals and other artwork. The Collection is thrilled to announce their newly installed playground located in Collection Park, available for families to enjoy.
