In our new series we will be sitting down with artists and collectors for an in-depth conversation on the subject! This Thursday, February 18, 2021 kicks off the first installment of Collectors Series, a behind-the-scenes dive into what it means to collect contemporary art.

Join us for a virtual conversation between artist Genevieve Gaignard, collectors Tina Perry-Whitney & Ric Whitney, and Alexandra Terry, Chief Curator, MCASB. Following Gaignard’s recent exhibition at MCASB, they will discuss the relationship between artists and patrons, the importance of selling to Black collectors, collecting artwork by artists of color, and more!
