You’re invited to join us on Zoom on Thursday, February 25, 2021 @ 6:30pm—7:30pm for the next installment of Ivor Davis: Up Close & Personal with “multi-talented Renaissance woman” Miriam Arichea.
Arichea will share the amazing story of how she has juggled all her careers: appeals court lawyer, concert pianist with symphony orchestras including CHICO (Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra) and the director of Rubicon Theatre Harmonix children’s choir. She also found time to become a credentialed teacher at Ventura High School, where she leads the mock trial and academic decathlon teams.

Wilson Stroh Wilson Architectural
Driving Tour
This virtual exhibit was created with the help of intern Jessica Schott, an undergraduate history major attending Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
Based on the Museum of Ventura County’s Wilson Stroh Wilson Architectural Drawings Collection, this tour has thirty-seven total stops across Southern California with the majority in Ventura County. Tour stops are broken up by city so that you can learn wherever you are. Directions to each stop are available through Google Maps upon selecting a site to visit. Enjoy Wilson Stroh Wilson’s designs and learn about local architectural history with this driving tour across Ventura County!

Discover all things POTUS with your very own Presidents’ Day Grab ‘n Go bag! This free giveaway contains a Chief-of-State handbook, crafts, Stars and Stripes: Amazing & Wacky Presidential Facts, Local Presidential Visits Postcards, and loads of fun activities for the family.
Join us on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10AM while supplies last. Drive-thru pick-up starts on West side entry (closest to the Museum) in the city lot adjacent to Agriculture Museum. Please follow traffic signs and attendants. Gloves, masks and social distancing practices will be in place.
