DEADLINE FOR SBA DISASTER LOANS FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE
DUE TO CIVIL UNREST IS SEPTEMBER 16TH!
Businesses of all sizes, most private nonprofit organizations, homeowners, and renters may apply for SBA federal disaster loans to repair or replace disaster-damaged property caused by the civil unrest that began May 26, 2020.
The funds may be used to repair or replace damaged or destroyed property as follows:
  • Businesses and Private Nonprofits
  • Loans up to $2 million for real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets
  • Interest rates as low as 3% for businesses and 2.75% for private nonprofits
  • Homeowners and Renters
  • Loans up to $200,000 for real estate
  • Loans up to $40,000 for personal property
  • Interest rates as low as 1.25%
These low-interest federal disaster loans are available in Ventura and Los Angeles counties and are specifically for damages due to civil unrest, not for COVID-19 related assistance.
